Temora Community Celebrates Youth Empowerment with TAKE THE LEAD Program and Special Guest Speaker Daniel Bartholomaeus

Temora is set to host an inspirational evening celebrating the remarkable achievements of our TAKE THE LEAD program graduates – a dynamic initiative dedicated to empowering young people to lead, innovate, and positively impact our community. This exclusive event will feature guest speaker Daniel Bartholomaeus, the 2025 ACT Young Australian of the Year, whose art and personal journey continue to motivate and transform lives.

Empowering Youth Through TAKE THE LEAD The TAKE THE LEAD program (learn more at: Temora Youth Programs) is a cornerstone of Temora’s commitment to nurturing leadership and resilience among our youth. The program celebrates the determination, creativity, and community spirit of its graduates, who are taking the lead in shaping a brighter future.

Inspiring Words from a Trailblazer This event is honoured to welcome Daniel Bartholomaeus – a 21-year-old artist whose inspiring journey exemplifies the power of resilience and self-expression. Living with autism and ADHD, Daniel has navigated challenges such as anxiety, school pressures, and depression, finding his voice through art. Today, he mentors with The With Friends Initiative, a social group for neurodivergent young people, and collaborates with prestigious organizations including Daydream Machine, the National Gallery of Australia, and the United Nations. His message is clear: it’s not about what you can’t do, but what you can do.
