VendorPanel
Register onto our procurement system
From July 2022 Temora Shire Council uses VendorPanel to source goods and services; from initial request through to contract award. This eProcurement system is used by hundreds of organisations to centralise and improve compliance in quote-based purchasing and tendering processes.
VendorPanel allows Council to source quotes from three types of supplier lists:
- Marketplace (Open market)
- Internally Managed (Self-invite)
- Pre-qualified (Tendered)
The VendorPanel system allows you to view more opportunities from Council and other organisations which use the system, giving your business more reach throughout Australia.
Benefits of VendorPanel:
- Free for suppliers to register on
- Easy to set your business profile
- Provides consistency in RFQ format
- Email notifications from organisations requesting quotes for your services
- Easy proposal submissions
- Improves the visibility of business, giving you better chances to view and receive opportunities from Council and other organisations on the system
- Download reports on all correspondence done through the system

Types of Supplier Lists
1. Marketplace
The VendorPanel Marketplace will be used to outsource our supplier opportunities and further extend our supplier catalogue. This will improve our procurement by both magnifying and extending our view of surrounding businesses and sole traders, meaning small business owners will be given as much opportunity as their larger counterparts.
Registering onto categories listed in the Marketplace will make you visible to any organisation, including us, looking to award jobs in that area of work.
Ensure that you register onto all categories that best represent the goods and services you provide.

2. Internally Managed
Lists of suppliers for frequently used goods and services less than $150,000.
Suppliers on these lists provide goods and services that Council frequently request quotes for. These lists and categories have been constructed by us to suit our needs.
Registering on these lists will make you more visible to us specifically, allowing us to more closely work with our suppliers.
To register, you will need to submit compliance requirements in relation to your goods and services. This may include, but is not limited to:
- ABN Number,
- Public Liability Certificate,
- Workers Compensation Certificate,
- Construction Cards, etc.
You can register onto multiple lists if your goods and services fall under more than one.
If you are unsure which list is relevant to you, please see the ‘Guide to TSC’s VendorPanel Supplier Lists and Categories’.

3. Pre-qualified
A panel of suppliers established through a tender process.
For any goods and services greater than $150,000, an open tender will be sent to the Marketplace. Any suppliers awarded a tendered contract will be listed here for Councils view until the contracts’ expiry.
The categories which may be tendered include:
- Legal Services
- Mobile Crushing
- Plant Hire
- Sewer Relining
- Stabilisation
If you see that your services are included in the above, please register onto the Marketplace to view any open tenders from Council.
