Plant Operator/ Labourer

We are currently seeking experienced Plant Operators to operate various plant and equipment in our fleet of contemporary machines and undertake general labouring work for the Engineering Works Delivery team.

The position:

  • Operate civil construction plant and equipment (watercarts, rollers, tractor slasher, loaders, utility vehicles)
  • Operate minor equipment and hand tools
  • General labour (traffic control, pipe laying, concreting, excavation, bitumen patching, vegetation control)
  • General administration / record keeping

Benefits:

  • $27 - $32 per hour
  • 4-Day work week (38 hours)
  • 11.5% superannuation

We are also looking for experienced plant operators for our casual pool.

Casual hourly rate starting from $34/hour.

  • Demonstrated experience operating large plant and equipment
  • Current HR drivers license (highly desirable)
  • Current Work Health & Safety Construction White Card (or obtain one prior to commencement)
  • Physically fit and willing to work outdoors
  • Work well in a team and as well as autonomously
