The Temora Youth Team has a fun-filled program for the winter school holidays, and it is all free for people aged 8 – 25.

“In week one of the holidays we have three workshops that appeal to a range of interests,” said Program Coordinator, Kassi Owen.

“On Monday 28th June we start with our own mini Olympics followed on Tuesday 29th by the return of our very popular mini Masterchef competition. On Thursday 1st July we will hold our DIY Succulent Gardens workshop,” she said.

“The following week, which is NAIDOC week, we welcome Juatia and Hannah into the kitchen to share their knowledge after recently participating in a 4-day indigenous cooking camp.”

Go for Gold workshop June 1pm – 2.30pm on Monday 28th

Beginning with an opening ceremony and torch relay, participants will compete in novelty events where they will earn points for things like placing in the events, team spirit and best team chant. The workshop will close with a closing ceremony and medal presentation.
