Country Change is a program that connects people currently living in our larger cities with communities that can offer them affordable housing and a more relaxed lifestyle. The program debunks the myths often associated with country living and allows potential country-changers to explore and experience their possible new homes by connecting them to Local Government Area representatives.

Embrace Temora is an initiative by Temora Shire Council aiming to encourage and embrace diversity within the local community. Temora Shire Council is actively seeking ways to ensure our community readiness to welcome people from a refugee or migrant background, in particular, who will address skill shortages within our business community.
Multicultural NSW’s Growing Regions of Welcome Pilot Program (NSW GROW) launched in June 2021 and aims to connect interested migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in western Sydney with lifestyle and employment opportunities in regional NSW.
NSW GROW includes a Regional Employment Hub that will create strong referral pathways between western Sydney and the pilot regions and help facilitate the relocation of interested newcomers and their families. Temora Shire Council is proud to be participating in this program.
