Youth Look Forward to a Better Future

The Better Futures Program was launched in spectacular style on Friday 26th June 2009 with an array of activities running from 1pm till 4pm.
Better Futures is an initiative that provides young people aged from nine to fourteen years, with free activities to boost self esteem and get involved in the community.
Funded by the NSW Government, the program will run for two years and be implemented in the Temora Shire by a local steering committee, who attended the launch.
Drama students wandered Callaghan Park and Information was distributed regarding work shops.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in computer workshops, digital photography classes and restore an old car, to name just a few of the great programs on offer through Better Futures.
